Kids will learn to use several techniques in the first few classes that will lead to the ability
to create sculptures.
Day 1- Slab plates, cups, and cut outs. Children can bring leaves, sticks, toys to press into the clay. We
will also be glazing.
Day 2- Pinch pots and monsters. Wind chimes if there is time. Glazing when done.
Day 3- Coil bowls and cups. If there is time, we will make a coil head of some kind.
Day 4- Elephant heads- combining coil, slab, and pinch techniques to create sculptures.
Day 5- Castles and dragons- combining coil, slab, and pinch techniques to create sculptures.
There is a $50 non-refundable deposit for this summer camp.
