Class Leader

Elaine Anderson-Wood

We’ll take the stirrups down just a notch as we saddle up for the ride and “travel” through both the era of the cowboy and Montana’s tribal history. You’ll learn some fascinating facts, participate in craft and cooking-related projects and take several unique field trips! One of these will include painting a living pony to reflect on what we’ve learned about tribal horse culture and The Trail of Painted Ponies. We’ll talk about the “Cowboy Code of Conduct,” famous cowboy artist, Charlie Russell, and some of Montana’s infamous outlaws! Come “camp” under the stars and re-live days of long ago through stories, songs, field trips and more!

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit for this summer camp.
