The Mystery Hour: “Seasonal Celebrations” (ages 5-12) (Ages 2-4 welcome with parental supervision.)

Each week, participants will enjoy a certain element of surprise while attending this fun-filled class! What CAN be revealed is that each time a person attends, he/she will look forward to a unique story and several hands-on projects. Weekly topics will be based on current events, holidays and our overall eNDVR theme. We’ll celebrate weather changes and cultural diversity through engaging discussions, poetry, music, story telling, puppet theater, crafts and more. Come try on a bunch of different hats: be an actor or an artist one week and a crazy cook, mad scientist or magician the next! There’s something for everyone to enjoy in this class and who doesn’t love a bit of mystery and intrigue in their life?

Notes:
*Please sign up for the entire session, we aren’t running this class as drop-in this time.

Teen Mentorship

Are you a teen (13-18) who would enjoy working with younger students as a way of earning “parent hours” for other classes you wish to take at eNDVR? If so, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Mentors will take on the role of instructor assistants, helping set up and take down activities and assisting younger children with a variety of skill development tasks. Depending on the session and class, you will help children engage in project-based activities that include reading, writing, puppet theater, math, social studies, science and center activities. In order to take this class, you must commit to coming on a consistent basis so younger students can count on you being there.
