ENDVR shared The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula's event.
I would encourage as many people to go to this event as possible! I can't go, but it's perfectly tied into what we'll be learning about this spring. Thanks Marilyn Morrison-Reid for announcing this! -Elaine Anderson-Wood ... See MoreSee Less
Homeschool & After School: Jeannette Rankin and Women's History
The Historical Museum at Fort Missoula
JEANNETTE RANKIN: AMERICAN CONSCIENCE Bring the family and join us for a special program about the first woman in congress, Jeannette Rankin. We’ll head out to the Grant Creek Schoolhouse, built by the Rankin family, to hear what it was like to fight for a woman’s right to vote and serve in congress! Although this presentation will be geared towards school age children, adults are welcome to attend as well. We will meet at the main museum building, 3400 Captain Rawn Way, and walk over to the Grant Creek Schoolhouse (on the museum grounds) if weather permits. This program will be free thanks to a grant from Humanities Montana
